Affordable Fun - Delievered To My Front Door

If you’re anything like me—busy, a little tired, and juggling a whole crew of kiddos—then you know sometimes the best summer memories come from the most unexpected finds. This week, I stumbled across a cheap blow-up activity pool online and thought, Why not? We’ve got six kids, it’s already blazing hot in Arkansas, and I needed something fun (and easy) to keep the littles busy.

Let me tell you—this thing is huge. I expected one of those dinky little toddler pools, but what showed up an hour later (yes, an hour—shout out to delivery apps for saving my life) was a full-on backyard oasis.

Now, before I go on—do yourself a favor and get a decent air pump. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but if I’d tried to blow that thing up myself, I’d still be out there wheezing by the time fall rolled around. Trust me. An electric pump = essential mom hack.

Once it was all set up, Sawyer (my 16-month-old) had an absolute blast. Splashing, squealing, and living his best life while the rest of the kids hovered like sharks, waiting for their turn. It was the perfect little escape without even leaving our yard. Sometimes, those are the best kind.

What’s even better? I realized this pool isn’t just for summer. You could easily clean it out, throw in some cozy blankets and pillows, and turn it into a year-round play pit or reading nook for the kids when the weather cools down. Multipurpose = mom win.

So if you’re looking for a quick, affordable way to bring the fun home this summer, I highly recommend finding yourself a big ol’ blow-up pool. Let the kids wear themselves out, soak up the sun, and enjoy a little break without packing a single bag.

Sometimes, simple really is the best.
